Here we have a specimen of a book designer in larval form. Formerly an environmental toxicologist, then a technical editor, then a computer programmer, the creature has molted several times. It will pupate shortly.

Habitat : West Rogers Park, Chicago, Illinois, USA
Range : Has recently been spotted as far south as Hyde Park.
