Allison was a kindergarten rebel. She practiced writing her alphabet in the various typefaces she saw in fashion magazines and rebelled against the plain, trace-the-letter typefaces in her handwriting instruction workbooks.
After escaping with an AOS and BFA from Pratt Institute, she eventually settled down into Assistant Director of Publications for New Jersey City University.
She can always be found after a film, scanning the credits for the titling artists, at some new trendy restaurant critiquing the menu design, or ranting on NY/NJ mass transit about bad marketing campaigns.
Her websites, like her oil paintings, are always in transition.
